I stole Thrive's Global Questionnaire and decided to answer these questions myself ! it's okay since I am a contributing writer, right ?
Thrive Global: What’s the first thing you do when you get out of bed?
Me: Morning devotionals. I'm not that holy I may check my phone or computer.
TG: What gives you energy?
Me: Green smoothies, Jesus, laughter, passion, intimacy, quality time with friends, a good work out.
TG: Name a book that changed your life.
Me: The Bible - constantly going to it for strength and encouragement.
TG: Tell us about your relationship with your phone. Does it sleep with you?
Me: Sometimes. Only because I need an alarm and sometimes the only way I wake up is if it's near me.
TG: How do you deal with email?
Me: It's a losing battle. I try to clear my email folder and it becomes full again. I think it's things I purchased over the years or things that I'm subscribed to...
TG: You unexpectedly find 15 minutes in your day. What do you do with it?
Me: Hmm - read something on the internet.
TG: When was the last time you felt burned out and why?
Me: Recently with job hunting, writing and church. Just feeling frustrated. I suppose we expect our lives to be somewhere at a certain point and when it's not it's disappointing.
TG: When was the last time you felt you failed, and how did you overcome it?
Me: I'm not sure when I felt like I failed.... Well, actually last year got in a major argument with a family member and that made me feel like crud. Seeking forgiveness and ultimately knowing that the past is the past.
TG: Share a quote that you love and that gives you strength or peace.
Me: “God has not given us a spirit of fear but of power love and a sound mind". Many bible verses - but also many English poems, quotes and quips. Can't think of any right now.
